KUN SEVEN Violin Pad

Kun has been at this puzzle for over five decades and recently introduced the Kun Seven, which aims to attach the instrument to its player’s accommodating shoulder via a highly customizable shoulder support system. The pad itself bends to fit the shoulder, as pad adapters make the height adjustable and a “coupling joint” allows the player to adjust the angle and position of the pad. The Kun Seven is designed to avoid muffling the sound of the instrument by using offset feet with internal ribbing, minimizing contact. It’s primarily black with brass fittings, an aesthetic the company describes as a “nod to the past and a cutting-edge design that looks to the future.”
